If you are in love and want to know how your love story will end up, you might be interested to learn about love tarot spread illustrations that predict such an outcome. This could also help you understand your proposed life partner better, and/or tell you whether this is the right choice for you. So many questions pop up in your mind when you think of a relationship. Are not you curious to know the answers? Often these answers could be answered at the click of the mouse. In other cases, a visit to your favorite psychic could give you amazing insights. Whether you choose the Internet as your medium or a live psychic, knowing about the types of tarot spread illustrations would always be helpful.
Among all the divinations, magic potions, miracles sought, prayers offered, the most would be found in search of love. Human beings are perpetually hungry for love. While often this love is for and about a life partner, there are many times when people seek the love and acceptance of their parents, siblings, friends, children, God. When you seek answers through tarot card reading about love it is good to learn a little about the basics that go into such a divination process.
The Internet is a great teacher and information disseminator. Grab a scrap pad and a pencil and settle in front of your computer seeking tarot spread illustrations that divine love and relationships. One of the popular love divination spreads would be the 13 card spread. In this spread, there are seven cards that would describe you and your position in the relationship; the other six cards would be drawn three at a time, the first indicating your past, present and future and the second set of three cards indicating the other person's past present and future.
The seven cards spread about you would read as follows, the card no 1 tells about you and your feelings in the relationship. In order to understand clearly what is said, it would help if you have a tarot spread in front of representing each card and its meaning close by until you know them by heart. Card no 2 would tell you about the other person's character. Card 3 would give you an overall feeling about the situation. Card 4 would identify the obstacles in your path towards achieving the full love of the person you want to love you back. Card 5 would indicate what exactly the other person thinks or feels about you. Card 6 is about the expectations of the other person from you and the relationship; and lastly card 7 will tell you where exactly the relationship is at present.
The reading sounds easy, even fun. However, if you go through a few sessions or see some tarot spread illustrations you would realize that there are a lot of grey in the readings and very little pure black and white areas. This means you need to have that inner intuition that psychics are blessed with and a lot of experience before you could really understand the language of the tarot cards.

Astrology can teach us much about our relationships with others if we spend some time getting to know the symbolic language on a more intimate level. Usually when people speak of astrological compatibility they are speaking of their sun signs only. What you will often hear is "I am a Leo and I usually don't get along with Scorpios" or "I am a Virgo and Pisces people really drive me crazy." What's missing here, of course, is an understanding of what it is about other people that really challenges us on a deeper level
To get a clearer understanding of astrological compatibility it's necessary to delve into two facets of astrology: the elements and the aspects. The elements we use in astrology are fire, water, air and earth. Each astrological sign falls into one of these categories. Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are the fire signs which are usually associated with our ability to perceive on an intuitive level. Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are water signs which relate to the emotional aspects of our being. Libra, Aquarius and Gemini are all air signs and correspond to the mental or intellectual plane. And finally, Capricorn, Taurus and Virgo are the earth signs and relate to the physical or sensate qualities we possess.
The aspects are the interrelationships or dynamics that exist between the elements. The aspects determine the relative ease or "dis-ease" in which the elements will operate. For example, in Figure 1 I have laid out the elements in their natural relationships. As you can see fire and air and water and earth oppose each other (180 degrees apart). In addition each element is squared (in a 90 degree relationship) with each of the other elements. These two relationships, the opposition and square are the most challenging of the aspects between the elements. Does this mean then that if you happen to be an Aries (a fire sign) that every earth, water and air sign you meet will be a challenge to you in some way? Fortunately not!
In Figures 2, 3 and 4, I've laid out three diagrams of how the signs aspect or interrelate with each other. To interpret these examples all you do is find your birth sign and compare that with the other signs on your particular diagram. Using the Aries birth, for example, you would find that your relationships with Cancer, Libra and Capricorn would be challenging. The other water, air and earth signs in the remaining diagrams would not be as challenging and, in most cases, would be pretty smooth going.
This is because as an Aries you would be in positive aspect (trine) with the other fire signs and positive aspect (sextile) with the other air signs outside of your diagram. Similarly, if you are a Taurus you will find it more challenging to be around Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius and easier to be around the other earth signs and water signs outside of your own diagram.
To demonstrate how these principles operate in a relationship I'd like to share with you the dynamics of a couple I worked with a few years ago. She was a Scorpio with five of her ten planets in that sign and he was a Taurus with the same amount of planets in Taurus. As you can see from the diagram Taurus and Scorpio are opposite each other and theirs was a classic example of the opposition relationship. In this kind of relationship, which is quite common, (remember the old adage, opposites attract?) the couple often draws the opposite to them for the purpose of healing and becoming whole. What happens many times though, is that the couple ends up spending most of their time making the other person's reality wrong!
In this case she was the emotionally expressive one in the relationship and tended to be kind of "spacey" and quite ungrounded in her body. He was the epitome of the "classic" rational "I don't believe it unless I see it" type of guy. He wasn't interested or capable at the time of "being with" her deep, emotional material and she wasn't able to see the positive aspects of his earthy qualities. This is not to say that the opposition relationship won't work. It is just more challenging as it requires that both partners honor and accept the gift that their partner is offering them. It also takes great discipline to consciously develop the parts of ourselves that may be over developed in our partner so that we don't need them to be whole ourselves.
The square relationship is also quite common and I call it the "growth through confrontation" relationship. The crux of this relationship is that each partner challenges the other to keep growing often through confrontation and conflict! In the square relationship it often seems that the couple undermines and thwarts the best intentions of each other. The positive side of this type of relationship is that it provides a lot of energy and motivation to break out of old ways of relating. The only problem is that it can be very painful for all of those involved. Nevertheless, for those that are really committed to growing both individually and as a couple and who like a lot of fireworks in their relationship, the square relationship can be quite dynamic and can produce a lot of breakthroughs.
The conjunct relationship, or relationships that share the same sign, are the most rare and probably the most challenging. Since each partner is similar in many ways there is a compelling pull to merge with the other and to blur the boundaries that give rise to individuality. Objectivity tends to get thrown out the window and it becomes very challenging for the couple to distinguish where they stand in relation to each other. The reward of this balancing act is a relationship that reflects a singleness of purpose, and an intensity that provides motivation for accomplishing a lot together.
Interestingly enough the "easier" relationships, the trine relationship (both partners in the same element) and the sextile relationship (fire with any air outside one's own diagram, or water with any earth element outside one's own diagram) are not as common as the more challenging relationships we've been discussing. Maybe this accounts for the high divorce rate that exists in this country! Perhaps we choose the challenging relationships to move beyond what our familiar patterns of relationship have been. Since one of the gifts of being in relationship is the opportunity to grow both individually and in relation to others maybe we need that extra challenge to really motivate us to change and grow.

Relationships are one of the most important areas of life. The interplay between masculine and feminine energy is internal as well as external. The external relationship with our partner mirrors the internal relationship we have with these forces within ourself. Vedic relationship astrology is a remarkable system of scientific measurements, commonsense and holistic wisdom. Improving our external relationship, we improve our internal awareness and vice versa. Vedic astrology is deeply connected to the other Vedic sciences of yoga, ayurveda.
Both Western astrology and Vedic astrology uses the same planets, signs and houses. Yet, there are a few major differences between Western and Vedic astrology which reveal why Vedic Relationship astrology is so amazingly accurate.
Whereas Western astrology places importance on the Sun, Vedic astrology places more importance on the Moon. Vedic astrology uses 27 distant stars (called "Nakshatras") in the horoscope.
The Sun refers to our individual nature, not our desire to partner. Thus relationship compatibility must revolve around the moon, the planet of nurturing, vulnerability and receptivity. Vedic relationship astrology focuses mainly on the moons of the couple. Assessing the moons will reveal the flow of emotional energy and the quality of love flowing in the partnership. The moon is the planet of trust and comfort. It is related to our childhood, that time in life we are we were vulnerable. Based on this vulnerability we developed strengths, insecurities and complexes based on receiving things that felt good or bad. Throughout our life these strengths and weaknesses become modified, gently filtering our perceptions and attracting the experiences we feel ready to and worthy of receiving. We carry this fragile emotional psychology into our relationships. This is why when a person has a difficult childhood, they will repeat those difficulties in their relationships. It is because the Moon is what we are comfortable with, what is familiar to us. If turmoil is comfortable to us, that is what we seek in relationships. Astrologically, these emotional habits are shown by the Moon.
Vedic astrology uses 27 lunar signs as mentioned above. These 27 signs focus the subtle, refined emotional nature of each person with much more precision than 12 Western Sun signs. Yet within this increased precision there is even more refinement.
The "Ashta Kuta" (eight points) system classifies and compares each of these 27 archetypes based on more than ten criteria: (There are the 8 point giving Kutas and several other important comparisons)
* Friendliness with the other person's Moon ruler
* Temperament
* Sexual compatibility
* Vocation and caste
* Element and style (fiery, watery or airy)
* Capacity for receptivity and forgiveness
* Capacity to manifest externally as a couple, etc.
All of these criteria are actually applied to every planet in the chart adding a 10 fold strength just to the surface of Vedic Astrological compatibility. Through this subtlety it is possible to examine each planet.
In relationships the Planets show:
Sun - Our independence in the relationship
Moon - Our capacity to feel open and comfortable with the other person
Mars - Our strong ideas of how things should or shouldn't be in the relationship
Mercury - Our capacity to communicate and be flexible
Jupiter - Our common philosophies and principles, like values and religion
Venus - Our desire to experience pleasure with the partner and how we behave once the partner stops fulfilling us.
Saturn - Our need to feel safe, have proper boundaries and put in the necessary effort with the partner.
This amazing refined system shows all of the subtleties in human interaction, not just romantic relationships. It reveals why, perhaps you and your boyfriend have a good sex life, but cannot manifest anything outside of the bedroom. (High Gana Kuta, low Bhava Kuta). Or perhaps you share many interests in common but there is no spark, (High Graha Maitram, Low Yoni Kuta). Or perhaps you get along fine, but as soon as there is problem it is as if a whirlpool sucks you down into a maelstrom of confusion. (High Ashta Kuta points with Vedha or Rajju blemish)
To review:
* Vedic relationship astrology emphasizes the Moon, not the Sun
* Vedic relationship astrology uses 27 stars (Nakshatras) to delineate the planets with much more precision than twelve Sun Signs
* Vedic relationship astrology assess the 27 Star signs based on a ten-fold criteria to glean the subtle implications from each station in life.
This incredible level of accuracy is why they started arranging marriages thousands of years ago. It was not to oppress, it was to liberate and to help. It is no different than a nutritionist telling you what food is best for you or a counselor telling you which type of activities to avoid for increased peace and mental health. Once we learn to trust the universe again and restore the dignity to astrology, these truths will seem any more oppressive than a trusted doctor giving advice. Once rightly understood, Astrology is revealed to be an amazing tool for harmonizing our personal energy with the presiding universal wisdom that is all benevolent and leading us to the truth of who we really are.
